PATHWAY
The Pathway Programme is an integrated approach combining mentoring of student academic progress and career planning. Students meet with a Pathway Co-ordinator and/or their Dean to set goals, establish a career pathway and action plan, monitor their academic achievement , review and reflect on progress and plan for their transition to employment or further education.
All Year 13 students participate in the Pathway programme. Students are encouraged to look beyond school and establish a clear direction and focus for their future life.
The Pathway Programme helps students make better informed study and career decisions, while at the same time developing their planning, decision making and self reliance skills.
The Programme aims to produce young people who are versatile, resilient and self-reliant, and capable of making good choices by being practical and sensible decision makers. The establishment of a clear future direction or pathway by students also makes their time at school more purposeful and worthwhile.
