Learning Opportunities, Challenge & Support
We believe that every student is capable of learning and achieving success. We expect our students to do their best work and place a significant focus on teaching students how to learn so they can meet the demands of an ever changing and challenging working environment in their future lives. To this end, we offer an extensive range of learning opportunities designed to develop the talents, interests and career pathway of every student.
We understand that each student learns at his or her own pace. Flexible and individual learning programmes provide for the needs of each learner. Students requiring additional support and challenge, particularly in literacy and numeracy, are given this through our Learning Support programme.
Extension programmes are offered for students who excel in their studies including the opportunity to take university papers in senior years. All students are taught study skills and extra tutorials are offered in subjects throughout the year.
