National Certificate of Educational Achievement
NCEA is the main qualification for senior secondary students and includes a wide range of both Achievement and Unit Standards. All Standards contribute credits to an NCEA Certificate at Levels 1, 2 and 3. More able students are challenged to achieve NCEA endorsed with Merit or Excellence.

Hauraki Plains College also offers specialist qualifications for â'hands on' learners including the National Certificates in Primary Industries (Agriculture, Horticulture and Forestry) in Building and Construction and in Engineering.
