Excellence is our Tradition is our guiding principle and provides a benchmark for how we measure the quality of all we do.
Good schools provide lots of opportunities for students; great schools believe that every student is gifted and talented in some way and seek to challenge their young people to become all they were meant to be. Good schools expect their students to behave well; great schools teach their students the importance of responsible and contributing citizenship. Good schools dare to care; great schools encourage young people to dream and give them the skills and strategies to make their dreams a reality. Good schools provide academic and pastoral support for their students. Great schools say to their students, you can become all you were meant to be if you are prepared to work for it and they provide their students with a sense of 'I matter, I can and I belong.'
